Reviews and Ratings
I had a lovely stay at this hotel, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful views of the golf course. While the restaurant offered some fantastic meals, the room left a bit to be desired in terms of comfort due to the bed and the shower. Overall, it’s a great option for a relaxing retreat with good value for money.
Our overnight stay was quite pleasant, with friendly staff and a very accommodating attitude. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I thoroughly enjoyed a delicious breakfast the next morning. However, the dining experience was a bit mixed with some disappointing meals during our previous visit, which casts a shadow on what was otherwise a lovely stay. Overall, it's a charming hotel that I'd gladly return to.
We had a delightful stay at this charming hotel. The rooms were beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable, and the hospitality from the staff made our experience truly special. The food impressed us, especially during breakfast, but we did find some items could be improved. Overall, the value for money was excellent, making it a place we'd love to visit again soon.
My partner and I had a wonderful experience during our recent stay. The warm welcome from the staff made us feel right at home, and the attention to our dietary needs was impressive, particularly with the gluten-free menu options. The dining experience was truly exceptional, but I did think the room could have used a kettle for making our own cups of tea or coffee rather than just working with the espresso machine. The combination of value for money at ÂŁ16 for high tea was outstanding, yet I felt that some room facilities fell short, especially on the accessibility front.
We had a lovely visit to Forresters, where the staff made us feel welcomed throughout our stay. The rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated, although the dining experience was a letdown this time as some dishes were poorly prepared. Overall, the ambiance was wonderful, and it has the potential to be a great place once dining improves.
